NFPA 400 covers hazardous materials identification and classification and signage. Determination of maximum allowable quantities (MAQs), unstable/reactive, water reactive, corrosive, pyrophoric, toxic, and flammable materials. NFPA 400 describes the properties and requirements for oxidizers, organic peroxides, pesticides, and ammonium nitrate emulsions and fundamental protection and emergency planning requirements.
